Okay SERIOUSLY wtf is wrong with Davison? I love it here, and as much as it's the "in" thing to do since everyone is leaving in a month to hate on your hometown, I think you guys will miss it too. There are a lot places to grow up in than Davison, MI. I know it's really cool to bash your hometown, but honestly guys, get a life, unless you have a ( Read more... )

varsity choir was alright but seriously, aaron carter changed the way i look at life.

i wake up every morning and thank God that there are people like Aaron Carter on earth. He made me realize the importance in life. He made me recognize the value in small towns. He made me scream, woo, and collapse.

ok, maybe not, but i am thankful i dont look like him.

every small town gets boring. but davison is okay. i never hated it.

i probably wont live here though.

im a big city girl :)

anyway, i agree with you.

really, Davison isn't that small of a town. Check out M-15 between Davison and Lapeer and the size of our class and the growth rate of our property value. I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but Davison property value is flying through the roof. The house in which I currently sit has gained nearly 70k in property value in 6 years. Just for a bit of perspective, when my parents lived here, it was big news to get a McDonald's and you could literally walk to anywhere in the whole town. Also look at the amount of subdivisions being built. I guarantee you, if you leave here for ten or fifteen years and come back, you won't even recognize the place.

Amen (to kids being grateful for what they have.) I feel about Grand Blanc pretty much the same as you do as Davison, and maybe it's because I've lived in worse (including the "armpit of California" that is Oakland.) Kids complain too much without realizing what they've got.

If you're going to Mott, then are you taking Jap? If so, it better be the Monday-Wednesday 5:30 class, mistah.

Play Guild Wars. It's cheaper than WOW. I'm looking out for you!

I haven't scheduled my classes yet but I'll try to get in that class.

As for video games, no guild wars, no WoW....

Warcraft 3 again baby! I'm getting back into it and loving every minute.

ahhh. You are so right. I miss Davison, minus the ghetto wannabes: "Hi I live in Vassar Park, I must be ghetto so I am going to walk around with my pants around my ankles and say things like, 'Mutha fucka, don't you mess with me or you betta watch yo back'(with a hand snap) or 'I'm pimpin' yo". At least I think I repeated those quotes correctly. (Freshmen detention)

But then there is Oxford where people have rap and cowpie country music preset in their house-painted 90's pickup trucks' radios.
