[ She has to dodge to one side a little, but then gives it a quick toss in return. ]

Pretty much. It's been a weird week, you know? Time to do Normal Stuff. With nice Normal Willow. [He totally misses the catch, and jogs off to find the disc.]

[ She can't help laughing a little as he runs off to catch the frisbee. ]

[He stops with the frisbee in hand, the stricken look on his face quickly replaced with a smile.]

[ She gives him a kind of eyebrow up look. ]

[ oh snap. She has to work to catch it, skidding to a halt and tossing it back... gently. ]

[He catches it, pancaking it between two palms.]

Well now it's time for some upjo. Which is a word I just invented. [A throw back to Willow; yes, he's going to make you run a bit with this one.]

[ She appreciates the vote of confidence as she darts sideways, running to catch it in time... and missing. It drops to the grass, so she picks it up and lobs a hard one back at him. ]

If it was that easy, I'd be some kinda millionaire by now. [ Or something. ] The issue is, uh, more of the confidence-level than the power-level.

And I'm still young compared to Buffy. This time thing is weird. [ Oh snap. It drops to the grass again. She pauses for a minute in picking it up, turning it over in her hands before she throws it back and answers. ]

That confidence took a left turn sometime after I lost control of it.

[ But she's thinking of what McCoy asked her to do and wondering how to deal with it. ]

Willow, you're the smartest person I know. And also the nicest person I know, too. So maybe my confidence in you can count for something?

[ He's helping. He's helping a lot. She offers a small smile of thanks before she catches the frisbee. ]

It counts for a lot more than my confidence in myself right now. I've been working on Filial magic, the stuff you can learn from spirits here a-and so far that's been going well. Maybe when I'm, y'know, far enough with that, I can move on to... other things.

[ Like her natural magic. She tosses the frisbee back easily. ]

[A catch. A throw.] Ah yes, the spirit things. Well their magic doesn't do...bad stuff, right? It's more earthy-crunchy magic.

[ She doesn't even try to run for that catch. It's more of a resigned jog to where the thing lands before she half-heartedly throws it back. ]

No, i-it's more of the earthy and less of the taking-over-your-mind addiction type. Much easier to deal with. So far.
