This Monday we had a new cafeteria fitted in at uni. It looked good and all but it's still missing that bar that we already have in Fusehill Campus. It's... huh... about a quarter mile walk from the campus I work in. The new cafeteria also means that our hot drinks now cost about 3 times more than we used to pay for. It hasn't started yet, but me and my classmates are going to miss that old coffee machine that's about to be ditched. Sad times.
I'm not kidding. I'd rather work under the influence of one pint of lager than pay £2.49 for a cup of tea. By cup that is, a cardboard cup containing not half as much as a ceramic one from Costas. Actually the new cafeteria does have a Costa in it, serving those... card cups. Pretty charming and all, but the economy is in troubled times, you know. :(
