So its been awhile since ive updated but i dont really have time to make a full update. Please pardon the hideous spelling and grammer that follows. I am working on a 20 page paper for poli sci due wed. its a political analysis of Sen. Mitch McConnell. I was very disturbed to realized that KY ranks in the bottom of nearly every statistical category except horses per capita. We rank 41 out of the 50 states in per capita income and it continues like that in nearly everything. Lower than the national average in high school grads and persons with a bachelor's degree, higher than average percent of the population in poverty. Its really pretty sad.
I also didnt realize just how much i dislike McConnell until i did indepth research. I thought i was pretty politically observant and informed, apparently not. I hope someone really good runs against him in '08 because he has too much power and influence to really vote against him unless the other person is either a ressurrected Teddy Rosevelt or if Rick Pitino runs. But yeah, definately not my favorite person anymore.
