(no subject)
well, we're pretty much all settled up here in st. pete. it feels kinda good to be home... i really miss the like three cool people i met in sarasota (yes, erin, you're one of them :o)) but all in all it's nice to be back in a place where i know where everything is. i'm working as an IV tech up in largo, now. it's not my dream job, but the people are easier to deal with, and it will get me by till i can get my license and maybe get some sort of job in the massage therapy field. (which is still not my dream job, but is at least something i would prefer to do.) the place we found is very nice, but the landlord is a lazy bastard. i think we were spoiled with our last one. there are still some unfinished things to do to the apt. and it's like pulling teeth to get him to do any of it. he's really friendly, but he's all talk. he says he'll be out in the morning to fix something, and a week later it's still not done. i hate to hound people, but some require it if you want anything done. we had a kickass vacation with tom & danielle, despite the crazy fog we encountered once we got to the cabin. i'm sure there's more stuff to talk about, but at the moment all i can think about is my nice warm cozy bed...
