Whoo! We survived!

Mostly, anyway. But we got past the rough draft section, so the battle's half won! Now there's just the general angst of editing, claiming, betaing, more editing, and posting! But you have all month to worry about that. Let's talk about our rough drafts instead.

Writers: What day and time did you send in your rough draft? What's your word count? Are you with the fic? If not, what do you plan to do between now and October to finish that darn thing? If you didn't make the deadline, will you continue writing the story anyway, or will you shelf it for next year's big bang?

If you want to vent your spleens with a scream, go right on ahead. ;D

Artists/Mixers: Are you excited for the claims day? Nervous? Do you have some general ideas already in mind, or are you waiting for the story itself to be your muse?

I'll go first. I sent in my draft on the deadline day at 11:50 PST. I have roughly 32K words, and, no, it isn't done yet. I plan on spending every morning before class polishing and fleshing out this accursed thing until it looks like the happy little story I dreamed about.

I wish you all lots of luck! <3
