Creepy scam artist letter.....Nouveau Tech

Today I got a letter in the mail that totally creeped me out. It said forgien aimail, domestic first class on the front and posted marked from Grove City, Ohio. I thought it was another stupid credit card company thingy saying, "You've been pre-approved," or something. Instead it was this like a "personal" 8 page letter saying I have been watched and carefully chosen to join some secret society. In this society I would learn how to use my "special gifts" (as they claimed I had) to attain wealth, power, love, all things I want in this world. I would have the abilty to conrtol people to get what I want! All I would have to do is fax in the invitation thing at the end of the letter and I would get my book on the secrets to life succes. An ABSOLUTELY FREE (as they bolded MANY times) book filled with secrets that has been used by the some of the most famous and powerful people in the world. The creepiest part of the letter was when it said:

How did these gifted people find you? For now, that must remain a mystery.

Okay, I after the intial scared for my life that people are watching me had worn off, reality set in. First off, if they REALLY have been watching me and knew me as they claimed to have, then they would have know sereval things about my personality which was not represented in the letter. The letter was EIGHT PAGES LONG!! If they knew me at all then they would know I have ADD and my non-exsistant attention span is not about to read to whole thing but rather skip to the end to get the gist. They would also know that I am one of most skeptical people on earth. I pretty much think everything is a scam and all strangers have an alterior motive. And lastly they would also know that I am one of the only people in the world who does not want to win the lottery. So obviously, the promise of making me instantly rich is not a convincing argument. Then there is the idea of controling people to get what you want. How scary is THAT? It sounds like some evil shit is going down somewhere. By the way you have to send back the invitation acception by a certain date to NEW JERSEY? Not a forgien place, and not Ohio. Hmmm...

So I went online to see if I could track down the company, or guy who sent it, or others who may have recieved it (this one being the most important, cause I wanted to make sure I was not acually being watched ). Luckily I found a few websites devoted to the scam. Apperently some people sent back the invitation, most out of curiousity, and then they send back a 56 page doucement convincing you to buy some cult-like book that costs $150.00. If you guys had seen the letter it does in fact not only sound like a scam, but a cult if you purchase sed book.

It didn't really sound like anyone was doing anything about it though, just laughing at it or bitching about it, then forgetting about or throwing it away. I showed it to my dad and told him I was creeped out. He said he had gotten scam letters before from like Nigeria and Spain saying he had won the lottery, and if he send in some "good grace" money then he would get his lottery money. He said he reported it downtown, my friend John (ala Staten Island) said I should report it to the state attorney.

Any thoughts on what I should do, cause I really want to report it, and find out how they got my name and address.
