Glossary Update
I have finished the chapter that includes looking-glass insects. New entries:
- Rocking-horsefly
- Snap-dragonfly
- Bread-and-butterfly
Once again, the links for the glossary: Glossary Main and Backup Copy. (Rule #1: Always have a backup)
Both the TLG and 2010 film versions are defined and described, where applicable (to the best of my knowledge, though I'm only in the middle of my third viewing--and only the first with serious note-taking--the bread-and-butterfly is not featured in the 2010 film).
I would like to do further entries on the creatures of Underland, because I love fantasy ecosystems as much as I love fantasy linguistics and cultures. I know, however, that a project like that would probably undo me, much like my attempt to classify and catalogue the Folk under the rules of Linnaean taxonomy (they laughed when I proposed this). I think I'll stick with fantasy cultures. That's complex enough. ^_^;;
