So, yeah, I've been in Asian waters for the past 6 months, can anyone say crazy? There's too much to tell, so many pictures worth more than a thousand words. Where do I begin?
First off, I'm "In!" I have my phone again, so please if anybody would like to chat some-a-time, give me-a-call! 425-328-4838
So, let's see the many adventures I wish to share, though, my adventures go further with the pictures I've take, but I forgot my camera so they will be up later. I'm going to list out the things from each country that I've done or seen. Here we go!
Hong Kong, China: A Bank of America, the Bruce Lee Statue, the Giant Buddah, drank Absinth and 151 shots (hello green fairy!), skated 3 skate parks and film every trick, shopped, did some kung fu fighting (i was fast as lightning!), ate real chinese food (alright, americanized chinese food is better), saw a dead body floating in the bay of HK (gross!), and saw more people, more cars, and more everything than I could have ever imagined.
HK rating: 3 out of 5
Pattaya Beach, Thialand: Ate the spiciest Thia food ever (it made me cry...like real tears), got hit on by the 1000's of hookers in down town Pattaya and got my nipples rubbed while I walked down the street, got a custom suit made, shopped, held a baby sloth that had a sweater on, saw some thia boxing and sword fighting, saw elephants a show do the following: basketball, soccer, bowling, darts, ribbon dancing, paint a picture, and punch my friend's nut with its trunk (i have videos)! I got picked up by an elphant (look at my user pic!), saw a buddist monestary with many temples and prayer rooms, got to ride an elephant through the bush, played with gibbons (cute little monkeys), saw a giddon steal someones beer and drinking it, saw how silk was made, saw how pineapples grow (17 months for 1 pineapple!) rafted across a lagoon, ox carting, and met more people on the street trying to sell you anything they had (including children!).
Thailand rating: 5 out of 5
Singapore: Very clean, their laws are absolute like no swearing, no spitting, no skate boarding, no chewing gum, etc. I dind't see any of it because I worked most of the time we where there, but from what I saw outside of the base, clean, like NO trash on the sides of the road.
Sinapore rating: 1 out of 5
Saesebo, Japan: ate real sushi, drank saki, skated, shopped, saw a sumo match, and bought two lucky young women a Kimono ;-). I had to work again in that port so I saw very little with the time I had. I did bump into my friend from high school who is stationed there, so small world.
Japan rating: 2 out of 5
Honoloulou, Hawaii: Partied like it was 1969! Went to a luau, went surfing (filmed it for movie purposes) rented a spot on a beach with a long island in hand, went to a sleezy strip club, rent a moped and toured the island, went skydiving up at north shore, bought a ukolele (i love it!), saw a bunch of movies (clerks 2, superman, pirates 2), saw a reggae band, got tattooed (peace, love and unity in Japanese Kanji on my left side, it looks hot, or so I've bene told), saw fireworks on the 4th, got my phone (call me), and realized that I spent a little too much money!
Hawaii rating: 5 out of 5
There's soo much more to tell, soo many stories that need pictures by my side. I'm coming home Septmeber 29th and I'll be home until the 6th. I think I might throw a little shindig at my house so I can see you guys, I miss you more than you'll ever know. 6 months in a floating prison makes your mind do circles and only the love of my friends, family and our Heavinly Father held me togther. Thank you guys for your prayers and your thoughts, they were felt.
Peace to all and love your lives,
-Rob
