Gueeeeess what, I am officially a university student! When we got back from California the first thing I did was run (yes, run) to the Communal Mailbox and dig through the piles of mail within the boite, and open up all my mail right out there beneath the threating rain clouds. (how poetic.)
My math mark was PRETTY BRUTAL, but still it was good enough that I kept my admission and my small admission scholarship.
I'm just excited to go buy my textbooks and supplies and get my probably-disgusting student ID and everything! And then be completely miserable for the next four years... well, hopefully not THAT bad. I'm just excited.
ALSO A POLL FOR ALL YOU FORMER AND CURRENT UNIVERSITY STUDENTS!
I don't have a laptop computer, but what did/do you find to be the best way of keeping notes? Large notebooks? Filing everything away in binders?
I've heard that binders are not a good idea because they're big and you don't have a lot of space (especially in those tiny little half-desks), but I've as of yet been unable to find a nice, standard-sized fat notebook to buy several of in order to keep what I'm guessing will be a crap load of notes. I suppose I could also keep loose leaf and like, a clipboard, but I could see that getting really disorganized real quick.
Sigh. So I'm hoping to go down to the university sometime to see what kind of supplies they have at the bookstore in case I have better choices than at an office supply place.
I also reserved my locker in the Science Theatres; I have two classes there (although only three times a week). I don't know how often I'll be at it, but I figure I can keep my essentials and all my crap I don't feel like lugging home every day.
