getting my hair cut by a lady barber
I'm listening to an interview that my Grampa gave before he died, talking about his experiences on the ships. It's really freaky hearing his voice again.
Well my gig was a success. T'was a busy busy day, doing lots of stuff and running about. One of the bands were being rather nasty to me because they were on first, but they were shite anyway. I didn't really hear many bands because throughout the night I was working on the tuck shop or at the cloakroom, however I did sneak a peak at Syth and they were fantastic :) We made a lotta money and everyone seemed to enjoy themself, so it's WOOPWOOP all round.
I had my first day at work on Saturday and it was soooooooooooo much fun. I met two of the girls I'll be working with at Braehead and they both seem lovely. We had to watch those stupid health and safety videos for half the day which made me tres sleeepy. I signed myself up for lots of hours in the week running up to the Braehead store opening, which I'm really looking forward to!! Gonna be minted!!!
Next week is my last week on my current timetable, which means all my classes for this block are finishing up. And that means lots of deadlines!!!! I'm doing okey, I've completely finished work for 2 of my classes, and only have a little to do for the other 3 so I should get everything completed between now and next Friday. And then it's new classes and new tutors and new days off!! I can't believe I've been at college for over two months now. Wow! College has been good this week, apart from bad things happening to good people. This afternoon was the first time I've had a shite afternoon the whole time I've been there, but I got out at half 2 so that wasnt too bad.
I got a sexxxay winter coat this week. It's reeeeallly sexay and it goes with everything in my wardrobe!!
Lost Season 3 gets better and better!! Eeeeeep!
I've not had much of a social life recently due to a/ lack of funds and b/ lack of enthusiasm. I've been in a bit of a shitty mood and going out hasn't been at the top of the priorities list, and even if I'd wanted to I couldn't due to being skinto. Pfft. Vicious circle. I did go out with Laura this week though because she goes away and I won't see her for ages. We went to Braehead and I helped her spend money, and then we ate a ton of food at Pizza Hut. T'was a crackin wee night I must say, just what we both needed.
At the moment I am wrapped in my dressing gown with my hot wottie bottie in the pocket, drinking a wee cuppa tea and listening to my Grampa talking about ships. I'm gona make myself a potato feast for dinner, seeing as I'm being left to fend for myself. Potato wedges, waffles and whatever else poato-y I can find =)
Cinema tonight. What to see??? The Guardian. Borat. Saw 3. Breaking And Entering. A Good Year. Red Road. The Prestige. Starter For 10. Bloody hell - there's a lot of films out at the mo.
