MUV: Horohoro vs. Cirno

[Horohoro waits for Cirno on the football field, leaning against his snowboard. Kororo is already oversouled into it- force of habit from the shaman fights. [In typical Cirno fashion, the only thing she is ever on time for is a fight. Armed with only a cocky grin, she approaches Horohoro and points at him dramatically.]

GET READY TO LOSE, 'KAY?! Ya might as well just give up, 'cuz I'm gonna kick your butt so hard your grandkids are gonna feel it!

[stay_cool_bro]

No chance! You're gonna cry to your mommy when I'm done with you!

[he hops on his snowboard and flies up high, already preparing his first attack. No sense wasting time, right?]

[frogsicles]

[Proudly.]

I don't have a mom, stupid!

[She, too, takes to the sky, firing off a few streams of danmaku as she does.]

[stay_cool_bro]

Then I guess you'll have to cry alone! Too bad!

[huh, that's new. He's never seen danmaku but he's just gonna try to fly out of their way for now. Doesn't stop his original plan-]

Kau kau furi wenfe!!

[he unleashes a bunch of his own projectiles. They're basically big chunks of ice. He's mostly aiming at Cirno but a few collide with her attack. However there was more danmaku than ice, so he still ends up hit by one of the streams]

Oof!

[kinda feels like he got slugged. Luckily his snowboard is intelligent and moved back to catch him so he didn't stumble off. It wasn't too bad but since his flying isn't as natural as hers he's gonna have to keep an eye on them just so they don't mess that up.]

[frogsicles]

[Cirno clenches her fist in triumph when her danmaku hits and is immediately whacked in the head with a piece of ice.]

Owwww!

[She puts her hand on the injured area, and when she pulls it away there's a slight dusting of frost in her hair, a makeshift icepack. She takes several seconds to fully recover from being hit.]

[stay_cool_bro]

[Nice opening! In that case, he's gonna speed in closer, a gigantic icicle forming on his board which he will try to stab at her with like a sword. Or maybe more like an enormous killer bee, since it's on the bottom like a stinger.]

Ebishingu Teshippe!

[frogsicles]

[Cirno dodges to the best of her ability and fires danmaku at the icicle in an attempt to break it.]

[The danmaku break the ice and hit the bottom of his snowboard OS. Luckily he can fix it by adding more furyoku so it won't reach the snowboard itself, so after a very quick regeneration of the OS he just sends another shower of ice chunks. Good thing she's backed off!]

[frogsicles]

[Cirno fires a barrage of danmaku at the incoming ice, but not quickly enough to avoid being hit again. She takes another few seconds to recover and puts more distance between herself and Horohoro.]

[stay_cool_bro]

[likewise, the danmaku that didn't hit ice are heading toward Horohoro. He decides to drop altitude to dodge them, but... well, one hits him in the face as he's going down. A sputter]

[Cirno snickers and checks her second wound, on her shoulder. It was going to be hell to move that arm in the morning, but she'd just have to ignore it for now. She rotates her arm a few times and watches Horohoro warily.]

[recovering from the blow, Horohoro's still falling, but it doesn't really concern him since Kororo is letting out cold air to slow it down. His third attack is useless since she can fly, so maybe he needs to step up his game a bit. He'll take a bit of a risk.

So, he suddenly speeds back up at Cirno, but when he gets inside his estimated range of her danmaku, he jumps off his board, grabs onto it with his arm and changes his oversoul style. It now looks like a large cannon or a statue attached his arm. Surprisingly, he can still fly around like that - which he's doing, hoping to close that gap again. But now he can block and freeze the danmaku better, he thinks. Plus, if he hits her with nipopo punch, she'll probably get frozen. But his movements in the air are not quite as smooth.]

[frogsicles]

WHAT THE HECK?!

[Okay, she hadn't been expecting something like THAT. Here's where she'd start pulling out other modes of attack herself - except that she didn't have any. She can't let him get too close because she's helpless when it comes to close-quarters combat, so she tries to maintain distance as she fires off danmaku.]

[HEH.]

Like the new style?!

[out of the end of the statue comes a large puff of extremely cold air that freezes the danmaku in front of him. He punches them to bits as he comes at Cirno.]

That's no fair!

[She doesn't bother shooting this time, she just books it, flying higher. Even she can tell if she gets hit right now she's done for.]
