Hello Hello [audio/action]

Feb 07, 2011 23:43

[There has been a new student wandering around campus this weekend. Checking out the sights, poking his nose into empty classrooms and slinking down the hallways. Perhaps you've seen him around, perhaps you haven't. He hasn't been going out of his way to make himself noticeable but he is certainly a new face and he is moving into BE-4. Hello Bulba ( Read more... )

Screeching? Huh. Can't say I heard any? Tuesdays sound roughly like Mondays, but the classes are different.

Anyhow, you must be new, right? My name is Knuckles. If you need to know where anything is around campus, or need stuff moved into your dorm, just gimme a shout.

Yes, some kind of squawking, screeching, cawing sounds. I certainly hope it's not the cafeteria food.

A pleasure, I'm Seth. New student. What sort of classes are there?

Huh. Well, I don't think it's the food - Nancy does a great job, despite what you might hear some folks say.

Great to meet you, Seth. There are a lot of different ones - Ethics, Biomechanics, Archery, Ettiquette, Smash Fundamentals, Dance, Advanced Psychology, Philosophy, Computer something or other, Autoshop, Pokemon studies, just to name a couple.

Impressive variety. What classes do you like most?

Autoshop is a whole lot of fun and taught by a good buddy of mine. Piloting is one I didn't mention already, also taught by a good buddy of mine and that's one of the best classes you could hope to take anyplace. Smash fundamentals, we get to fight a lot. Ethics is a real brain-bender. There's a lot of stuff said that really gets you thinking, but it IS pretty writing intensive sometimes so if you're no good at essays - like me- you might have trouble. Pokemon studies is cool if you're like me and know a lot of Pokemon, and the teacher is real nice.

I dunno. I think I like ALL of my classes. Itt'd be real hard to pick a favorite, honestly. What kind of stuff do you like to do?

[Weakness at writing essays and thinking too hard, duly noted.]

I've been told I'm good at lying and conniving writing so Ethics sounds very appealing to me. Why, maybe I could even help you out if you're having trouble? In exchange for something of course. Like your soul.

Oh! Thanks for the offer, buddy, but I do my best to get through it on my own, y'know? I learn more that way. But if you like writing, you could try Professor Uxie's advanced Psychology class. I've never taken it but if it's like the Experimental Psychology class we had, it's probably pretty wordy. There's also a Philosophy class - I was gonna take it but I'm pretty solidly booked with classes to begin with. I can just feel the pen ink dripping off the NAME of that class. *LOL He is so wrong about that.*

Of course, you don't want to work yourself raw and have all your efforts go to waste.

They are getting on so nicely. Oh Knuckles you poor, poor fool. monotreme_101 February 10 2011, 00:40:00 UTC
Exactly! You got it. If I'm gonna work that hard, I wanna make sure to learn as much of it as I can, or there's no point in being there.

So, you like to do anything else apart from writing? You like football? We've got a great team, you know. Weight lifting? Track n field?

This is exactly what Warren wants hahaha. stay_classy_cat February 10 2011, 01:05:05 UTC
I can pull my own weight but I'm afraid I can't do much more than that. I wouldn't want to weigh down such a great team. Do you play?

Oh, of course! Actually I'm on the football team, weight lift and I run a bunch, so, I figured if you were interested in any of that I could show you around or whatever.

I wouldn't mind becoming more familiar with campus grounds.

Certainly at your own time and leisure, however.

Hey, I can always make time to show a new person around school. Lemme know once you're settled into your digs and I'll give you the tour.
