Seven Subjects
Comment to this post, and I will list seven things I want you to talk about. They might make sense or they might be totally random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your journal. Other people can get lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself.

1. Animation
Animation has been a legitimate art form for many decades, but many fans of animation, especially most historians and critics, have an inferiority complex about it. One of the worst things an animation critic can do is say, "Anything made after year X [for example, after Termite Terrace closed], is worthless." This is not the way for animation to go forward.
2. Debates
Real debates, like those in schools, can be enlightening. Presidential debates are just joint press conferences. Shouting matches are not debates, but will stay on the air until people stop responding to them.
3. My Dream House
My dream house would be like the one my sister had in Atlanta. It was a tiny little house in a cul-de-sac that had two floors, a huge living room, a complete kitchen, several bathrooms and bedrooms.
4. Bad Restaurants
Most buffets are not very good, and most fast food places trade quality for convenience.
5. Favorite Jokes
Cartoons have spoiled me--great gags like the ones in Looney Tunes or Ren and Stimpy make me laugh out loud! I can still appreciate verbal humor and more subtle gags.
6. Things or People You Consider Perfect
Perfection is impossible in this life, but the people I love come pretty close.

Cars will break down if you don't give them regular service, but that's hard when you're poor.
