Fun with probability exams
This afternoon's events:
Talk about frustrating. At least my other professor gave us an extension on the homework.. it was due Weds, but she was sick and moved it to Friday (tomorrow). I was up until 4am this morning trying to do it, and found every single problem to be long and difficult.. so I persuaded her to give us until Monday morning. Yet another fun-filled weekend of homework, but at least I'll be able to get some sleep tonight. I hope.
- Walked into a test feeling confident.
- Found myself unable to finish the first problem.
- Went on to do the rest without difficulty, taking about 20 minutes.
- Spent the next hour trying to finish the first problem.
- Ran out of time, gave up, turned in the test with my best guess.
- Asked the professor about it afterwards.
- Noticed that the answer on her key was way out of logical range.
- Tried to redo problem with professor for 20 minutes.
- Professor gave up, said she'd get back to me.
