Oh, you poor thing. :( Finding out about slash is almost always a bad thing. My first encounter with slash came at age thirteen when I was still a big Harry Potter fan. I saw a fan fic labelled "Harry Potter/Severus Snape" and thought, oh lovely, a story about Harry and Professor Snape, this should be funny!

And then the two of them had a bang in the potions supply room. I wanted to gouge my eyes out and vowed never to read fan fiction ever again.
