Oooohhh Izzo's...you are my addiction. I've gotten to the point where they recognize me coming in. It's alarming, albeit nice to be dubbed a "regular." Danielle says she's going to put the phone number to there as my 2nd number in her cell phone book.
Tonight was a benefit performance of Evangeline for some group of wealthy mcwealth wealths. Jamie Wax, local celeb, flew back in town tonight and was there. It was really great to see him. What a guy. He gave me a hearty hug and said it was nice to see me in person and to see me on stage bringing his words to life. ...kind of neat to be friends with the author. heh.
Paige Gagliano, who is a joy forever, drunkendly praised me tonight as well. She kept talking about the kiss between Evangeline and me and saying that she wanted to act it out with me. One hand on my shoulder and the other cradling a cup of white wine, she chimed, "Let's show em how it's done...with tongue!" Wasn't sure how far I was supposed to go with the joke (as her face was awfully close to mine) so I pulled the old awkward cheery card that I play so well. It was funny. Them crazy Waxes and Gaglianos.
One of the jr. high kids in the chorus of Evangeline told me tonight that I reminded him of a Tim Burton character. "Don't take is wrong," he said, "Cuz I love Tim Burton. I was looking at you on stage for a sec during 'Father, Forgive Them' and you reminded me of Edward Scissorhands."
So that's cool...I look creepy and awkward. Hawt.
Finalement, je suis dropping francais 1002. I haven't been in a week and a half and things are not looking up. So, that puts me here taking French thru next summer. Ugh, bye bye May graduation. So all you undergrad fuckers better be happy that I'll be around a LITTLE longer.
Now time to pretend to study Biology.
P.S. I hear Neil Patrick Harris and Jordan Knight are gay. Is this true?
