Miss Ino-- plans have changed; turns out, I can make it to your auction, what do you know? Terribly sorry about the panic attack scare...

In other news, I've decided upon something.. sort of life-changing.

...

Okay, not really, but I've accumulated enough money (besides rent and groceries; yes, Chizuru, I know it's my time to go shopping. I ( Read more... )

Dude, bikes are the best!! They're awesome cardio, awesome for muscle tone, environmentally friendly, fast, easy and cheap to maintain. Ah, I could go on forever!

If you need any help picking out the right style (or maybe learning to ride...?) I'd be more than happy to help out. Just hit up apartment 21 and ask for Tatsuki.

Oh that's very kind of you! I think I might need some help, actually; I stopped by a shop earlier today and, well, it was slightly overwhelming.

Learning to ride one can't be too hard, can it?

Sure! I saw a flyer for Sportcheck having this huge back to school sale this weekend, so we might be able to get a really good deal. We could also try and get a used on, and I can help you tune it up if you prefer.

Its not too hard. Its just a matter of balance and getting used to it, really. I'm sure you'll pick it up quickly.

Oh that would be great. A used one seems ideal, considering my paycheck.

Hopefully. I realize it's sort of odd, a 30-something year old man with absolutely no prior bicycle experience.

Cool, I'll scan the newspaper and ask around at Re-Cycles, the volunteer bike shop I go to.

Hey man, we all started at some point, the important part is starting at all.

Thank you again. You seem to know a lot about this..

Indeed. In my defense it was not out of a lack of want; past acquaintances with bikes seemed to think I'd do nothing more than 1) crash them or 2) fall over if I ever got on their's. Ah well~

Cycling is a long standing hobby of mine, and I really love building and fixing things.

Well, you'll have your own now and I'll teach you how to maintain it, so it won't matter how much you crash. You can just get back on and fix it if you break it by accident.

Ah, that would explain it. Well it's good to know I couldn't have found (or rather, you be found by?) a better person for the 'job'. It's a pleasure, I'm Jyuushirou Ukitake.

I'm hoping for not many crashes, actually, but I suppose it's out of my hands~

The pleasures mine man, Tatsuki (Arisawa), as I mentionned.

Well, falling's pretty inevitable. But I'll do what I can to coach and help. Don't get discouraged by falling though, you can always get back up. And the more you fall, the faster you learn what not to do, right?
