Following the lead.
Everyone is upset at the sudden change in weather, but I've grown weary of the heat a long time ago. It's not pleasurable to find myself damp in my own clothes 15 minutes after arriving on campus, only to remember that I've still got 5 hours to go.
I'm excited to drink hot coffee to stay warm. I like being able to wear just a t-shirt, but also being able to choose a sweatshirt instead without getting crazy looks from passers-by.
The next 3 months will be the happiest of the year. Not hot at all and not too cold. Autumn is the only season I never dread, the only season I'm truly comfortable. I'll spend this season reading about amazing writers and artists; people who can express their inspirations in a way I feel like I'll never be able to. That is bittersweet.
