Africa?! Albus Dumbledore?! Therapy?!
So I might get to go to Africa with my dear friend Aubrey and do volunteer work -- this year! My parents are still deciding, and it is very expensive, but I have such a passion for this kind of thing.
It would be such an experience! I might not be able to handle the sad state of everything, but it would feel so amazing to help, that that would override the sadness. This is a life dream of mine. Just yesterday I was saying how I probably couldn't get any of my life goals done til I was in my twenties -- at least! Like getting on T, getting surgery, teaching, getting published, TRAVELING ABROAD.
And not only traveling abroad, but this is helping people and being immersed in a different culture. Poetry inspiring to say the least...
Well, the answer so far is a maybe and I'm doing my best not to jump all over the idea (hah! I fail.) but I will keep people posted!
On a different subject: Fanfiction. As demonstrated in my second-to-last post, I cannot get my mind off Albus Dumbledore possibly because Natalie roleplays him and I can't get my mind off of her. <3
If anybody (not that many people who are into the fandom read this, but ah well) has any Albus/Elphias, Gellert/Albus, or young!Albus/JUST ABOUT ANYONE fanfictions that are genius, that they would like to share: Please do so!
Also, therapy. I HATE IT. I HATE THAT HALF OF MY WEEK IS SPENT SITTING NEXT TO AN ANNOYING WOMAN AND SPEWING MY LIFE STORY, OR WORSE: NOT SAYING ANYTHING. I'm not going to try to get out of therapy as A) it's required for my school and B) I don't want to have *another* fight regarding the matter, but DAMN. I hate it.
While I'm ranting, I'd like to moan some more about my liebe not being online. I talked to her (and her kitties) on the phone this morning <3
It was very fun!
During Social Relations, I spent a lot of time debating deep biblical references, semen, Menly Man, Frisky Disko Men, Jews Bawkses, and army boots, as well as other phenomnomnoms
Honestly, I'm just avoiding math work by spouting words on to my LJ page. Tootles.
