you're stuck to me, like sugar to my heart;
So, today was supposed to be the Olivetree Review Girl's Movie Nite, for the film He's Just Not That Into You. However, since only Thesanica (karakurimi), Irina (nicetoknowyou07) and I showed up, and we were all running late, we decided to forgo the already-missed 4pm showing.
Instead, we moseyed on over to Dylan's Candy Bar and got ourselves some treats...we practically spent an age there, there were so many choices! An interesting moment was when both Irina and Thesanica decided to get these little canisters to stuff their candies in, and they literally stuffed them to the brim -- to the point where Irina had to take a bite off her sprinkled pretzel for it to fit!
Afterwards, we took the train over to Union Square and had a lovely Thai dinner at Republic. There, we got sustenance in the form of noodles (Irina's and mine; Thesanica had a vermicelli salad) and a...wait for it...coconut sorbet. The latter was technically Thesanica's, but she share with us -- it was yums. = 9
Shortly thereafter, we made a pit stop over at B&N, in hopes I'd find something to buy with the 5 or so bucks left on the gift card I'd recieved on my birthday. Alas, I didn't see anything I liked, and we'd all wanted to see what the newsstand upstairs had, but we realized the time, and all us Cinderellas had to go before our carriages turned into pumpkins (lol, yeah sorry, I couldn't find a better analogy to use)...
All in all, 'twas a great evening spent among friends. Let's do it again, guys! Thanks to Irina for the photos! ♥!
