Nothing in this World

I cannot wait to write my end-of-year review. It has been such an amazing year. I could not have asked for a better one. Here are some events you should be looking forward to see:

Academics - the end of BioCore, HHMI EXROP Program at the University of Washington in the Moon Lab, Stem Cell Biology and British Art History at Oxford, the switch from Neurobiology to Molecular and Cellular Biology, the shambles of Regenerative Science Institute, consistently reading Cell and Cell Stem Cell.

Travels - Paris for Spring Break 2007, Seattle for the summer, Oxford and London for fall quarter, Barcelona for a weekend, Marrakesh and Casablanca for 3 days, Milan for about 300 minutes, Venice for 3 nights, and Rome for less than 24 hours.

Family - a distant 3rd nephew, my 5th one, the 6th one on its way,

Friends - knowing how to invest myself in friends and everyone else, Trini, Veda, Sisi, Tet, Richard, Roarke, reconnecting with old ones like Phuong, Aaron, and Marc.

Social - Terra, cooking, Yoni, GG

Reflections - turning 20, my gift for Father's Day, rejection from Mount Sinai Medical School,

2008 - the ambiguity of my summer plans, Chem 35 in the spring, Cell Biology, Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine,

Person of the Year - Obviously, my mentor Bryan.

I haven't even finished my reflection for 2006 yet! Ahh. I'm falling behind BY THE YEAR. Here's a link to it if one wants to read. http://staticsoliloquy.livejournal.com/296926.html
