It's been six hours

since I submitted my Dispatch manuscript to Cell. The fact that I just published hasn't sinked in yet. Why am I not jumping up and down? Why am I not at all excited to be a second author in one of the most prominent journals? I don't know. I had such a great time writing it with my advisor. I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator and Endnotes. Those two skills will be very useful in the future. I made my figures from scratch and it looks so professional.

The publication will be featured in the September or October issue of Cell Current Biology.
