My top secret project

Jul 21, 2007 12:27

is going to be awesome. I have already recruited two Professors: Stephen Quake and Doug Brutlag. They both have agree to co-sponsor and co-advise. Dr. Quake is an amazing bioengineer who uses microfluidic devices to solve biochemical problems such as protein crystallization. Doug is renowned in bioinformatics. The guy co-authored a paper on DNA polymerase with Arthur Kornberg. Doug was also my teacher in my Genomics class. He just sent out an email to Julie Theriot, Karla Kirkegaard, and David Relman. It's good to know so many faculties who can help you in your endeavors. Now, I need to start recruiting graduate students and postdocs. Wh00t. If this project actually pans out by Summer 2008, it's going to be AMAZING. It's going to blow everyone out of the water, but for now, it cannot be revealed.
