ok, ok someone asked me about liam. which is a tough one. it's about a struggling irish family in liverpool, england (which happens to be in a economic depression) before WWII. it's not that it was a bad movie but it's a "foreign film". so, of course you take that with a grain of salt. it most definitely wasn't a hollywood movie. you will not, let me stress not find a happy ending here. now i'm not saying that it was excellente; that most surely isn't the case. the best thing i can say about it was that it depressed me more than angela's ashes. and that is saying something. yikes! i also, i finished watching confessions of a dangerous mind. not much to say here but i do believe chuck barris "thinks" he was a contract killer for the cia. now, i have to doubt he really was...the host of the gong show? have you seen the man...he's a stub of a man...not by any means your "typical" assassin. cause when i think "assassin" i think bandaras and stallone. that's a joke son. now that movie requires the tag of blows. so in conclusion, confessions doesn't have many other redeeming qualities other than chuckie's mental delusions.
and that's the end of the critics corner for this week.
liam - almost a waste of time
confessions of a dangerous mind - sucks
