Torii Hunter is gone, and it's nobody's fault - a typical minnesota headline. the twins should have made a REAL offer to the former face of the franchise [a.k.a. torii "two i(s)" hunter or no offer at all]. not a slap in the face of 3 years which was never countered from the beginning of last season. would it have killed the twins mgmt to make one jester, to the fans, of thank you for all the free MONEY! remember the stadium deal and the half-hearted promise of spending more money to make the team competitive? prediction: santana traded for underwhelming talent. twins next play-off appearance 2019. wait, you say they were contracted in 2017? ok then, the twins never make the playoffs again. end rant.
Sizing up free agents acquired by the Minnesota Vikings - don't bother to read this article just read the following recap. SHIANCOE: under-utilized bust. glad we signed him to 5 years. WADE: bust. thank god we have another 4th string wide receiver, on this team, that fumbles alot. 4 more years...yippee! Herrera gets extension - wow that was a close one. i'm sure there was a line of nfl teams beating down his door. can't have enough mediocre talent at right guard, you know. p.s. thank zod we got artis hicks as an expensive backup. and yes, i'm still bitter we traded hank baskett for billy "where am i now" mcmullen. and enough with the retread eagles players and enough of this no-tread coach.
