Okay, so, in retrospect, I'm pretty sure season 3 is by far my favorite Lynette season? Aside from maybe season 1, but season 3 has some of the greatest Lynette moments EVER, so I'd think I'd have to say it's my number one. (Also, I know I've talk about her hair in every single one of these posts so far, but she definitely had the best hair during season 3. I'm just saying.)
"BITCH WITH A CAPITAL C" is literally in my top 10 Housewives moments ever. I remember rewinding and watching that scene on the porch at least 20 times after I first watched it. "Look, Susan, God called you a cab!" I want to get drunk'd with those crazies. Also, Bang, I cry every time, standard Felicity-Huffman-fan-response, yada yada. That end scene where she sees Mary-Alice is the yard breaks my heart in ridiculous ways. (Speaking of, how good was it to see her in the episode on Sunday night?!)
The anniversary episode is one of my favorites. Mostly 'cause of when they kiss on the porch at the end. ♥ And looking back, I loved the Lynette/Rick

It's not a bad choice at all. Look at just how many great moments there were, of all kinds. You're right. Season 3 hair = best.
They had some perfect drunk galpals chemistry right there. It's one of the funniest scenes. Not over the top, very fitting for the characters, did I mention FUNNY?
She looked so beautiful in her Mary-Alice dream. So pleased that we got more Mary-Alice on the show now, too. What did you think of the episode, over all?
As a couple, I really loved both of them in the anniversary ep. Too cute. Lynette/Rick made me sad (sad Lynette, sad Tom), but I also loved seeing her so cute and cautiously flirty. It wasn't really "out there" at all, those little, innocent things he said made her feel so good. Like Fabiola already mentioned, a Lynette/Rick fantasy shower scene would be HOT.
Hey, we'll write long books to eachother. You can start by analyzing her hair in every scene. I would so read that.

I'm still on the fence about the episode. But I'm mostly just pissed off at how the writers made Lynette so naive at the end there. I know she just wanted to help him, but pity or not, she's smarter than that and everyone knows it. Not to mention it kind of irks me that we know Marc Cherry probably didn't have this storyline in his mind when he wrote the earlier seasons (or, you know, maybe he did, but I think that's supremely unlikely). So this just feels like filler that they whipped up out of nowhere strictly for mystery purposes.
Um. WHY WAS THERE NOT A LYNETTE/RICK SHOWER SCENE? Now I'm bitter.
Oh man, that would be a bestseller within minutes. Lynette's Locks. I'm down.
We'll make it a pact to reenact that scene. Bitches with capital Cs, that's us.
I don't know why, but the way Housewives have been doing flashbacks episodes, I haven't liked it that much. I thought this was one of the better ones, but I doubt he had it in mind a long time. I'm really excited to see where this goes. I like that Lynette's a part of the mystery now.
The flashback episodes were cool at first (the 100th episode was by far one of their best), but now that they've begun to do them so frequently it's just getting old. Not to mention it makes me sad when they do the episodes where they break it up into individual segments for each housewife, because then there's little to no interaction between any of them.

Exactly. And, you know, I don't remember if it was me nerding out to audio commentaries by the actors or so, but I think they said that they barely see eachother on set nowdays, and I wish it wasn't so. They need more moments like "Rex cries when he ejaculates", y/y?

Aw, seriously? That makes me so sad! They need to have more poker nights and fun neighborhood get-togethers. And yes, they definitely need more dinner parties where embarrassing sex tidbits are offered up.
