Okay, literally, I didn't think anything could top your season 1 spam, but then THIS HAPPENED and I got totally giddy all over again. I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOU and Lynette Scavo SUCH A LARGE HUG RIGHT NOW
( ... )
HI YOU GUYS. I'm all in for the Skype, basically. Just let me know whenever you are free, and we'll set something up? I mean, don't feel obligated. I would love to ♥
I am so down if y'alls are. Weekends are best for me up until mid-June...ish, but summer is basically wide open so far. We'll make it happen at some point. ♥
Helloooo, I'm here with open arms, la la la Journey. However that song goes.
It's a gift she has. She should share, I do not have that gift.
You're right, there is a contrast. I just had no idea it was that big. It's really incredible, how gorgeous the frumpy housewife version covered in baby spit and very little vanity is. Also, when she started working again, she got a lot of different hairdos. I guess she had more happy, lighter moments here? Not all the way, of course. But season one had a lot to do with not reaching up, going bonkers because of the kids.
Nothing makes me happier than to hear that, love. The best thing coming out of this is to share it with you and just talking about it again. ♥
So now I coooome to yooooou, with oooopen aaaaarms. Or something.
I started re-watching season 2 again today and now I see it even more. Especially the hair! Love. (Also, just so's you know, there were so many moments when I went, "AW YEAH THAT WAS SO IN CAMMIE'S PICSPAM." ♥)
I basically watched the first disc of season 2 (up until "They Asked Me Why I Believe in You") except for one or two episodes, and then maybe one or two from the second disc? I was skipping around a lot. I got up to the episode where George gets Bree hopped up on antihistamines and then seduces her. (Speaking of, I miss Bree's perpetual perfectionism so much. She has mellowed out so much over the years.)
I remember loving Bree in that, and feeling so horrible for her. George was excellent, but incredibly creepy all the same. (Mhm, one of the things that made Bree stand out for me as a character, and with her little comedic moments. It should have been kept further on.)
I love the hotel scene with the two of them (or rather, their last hotel scene together since I'm pretty sure there were multiple). I mean, not to say that I loved that she let him die, but sorry, that was bad-ass, Bree van dee Kay.

I agree, that is one of my absolute favorite episodes too. Bree's breakdown is one of the best scenes ever, ngl.
And the butting in stops here. Love you, love Camilla, love Flicka and her beyond amazing skills and facial expressions. ♥
