50 Books Challenge 2010

is done. actually, i finished Hard Times on sunday night but i've been busy with an essay, which is my last deadline before christmas. i should get some reading done over the holidays too so i'll just keep adding to this rather than start on 2011 a month early. i'll make a review post and a to-read list for next year in a ( Read more... )

You're so hardcore, bitch!!! I should totally try to do this next year. No really. I have a huge pile beside my bed, but just keep reading fluff/listening to audiobooks. Dammit, I need to stimulate myself.. intellectually! XD

tbf i'm taking three literature courses this year at uni, loads of these are compulsory texts XD
but seriously, i recommend it, it's really fun and rewarding.

Tsk tsk! That's got to be cheating! lol. Did you get through 50 easily, or was it a bit of a struggle?? I dunno if I could do it! But then.. I am unemployed and should really do *something* with my time! Aha.

this year wasn't too hard, again 'cause i had a billion novels to read for uni. if you get a fair bit done over summer/during holidays then it's quite manageable. also (and i'm convinced this isn't cheating) it helps if you have a little supply of short/easy reads around to keep your morale up!
