VooDoo Doughnuts - maple bacon dooughnuts

Powell's Books - an entire city block of books both new and used, separate store for technical section

Acropolis - strip club with the best steak I've ever had, $10 filet mignon complete with steak fries, Texas toast and trip to salad bar. There are some really good and cheap places to eat in Portland. Many of them are strip clubs. It's not unusual to see couple out for dinner at such. The one I just mentioned has tables in the corners fairly out of the way of the rack for such couples.

The japanese garden is nice, and downtown portland (what little of it there is) is nice to stroll around.
