Seriously, that was part of the chorus from the opening band that played last night. Animal PrufRock. I've never heard anything like it. Songs about being transexual, a spoken word about bulldaggers... During Ani's encore, the lead singer came back on stage to rock-out and eventually undressed down to her boxers, completely topless. Ani commented with, "This is probably legal here, right?"
Last night at the Fillmore was just what I needed. Shouting "fuck you" during "Untouchable Face" felt too good.
Two MCB midterms in as many days. I had fun watching Counting Crows and getting dinner with random friends this weekend, but these good times were intermixed with what have now been identified as mild panic attacks, along with waking up at 6:30 AM to take said exams. Becoming unable to breathe while studying is not cool.
At least I'm getting this summer chiseled out. It looks like I'll be volunteering at an abortion clinic (not planned parenthood) where I'll be able to interact more directly with patients doing pre-op and drawing blood and things. I have no patience volunteering at hospitals - I'd rather not spend 4 hours a week working at a gift shop, thanks.
I'm getting sick of my mom being in England. I hate having to wait until midnight to talk to her.
Oh yeah, and those Mormons in Texas. Fucking crazy.
