i don't think the heat is working and i am chilled to the bone.
so on friday i was running all sorts of intern-ly errands for my job with the designer and when i went to the patternmakers i was hanging out waiting for them to find some things for me and i started talking to this guy who turned out to be the owner of the business. anyways, he was asking me where i went to school, where i was interning, etc. and then he goes, well hey i have clients who would love to have you help them out at the shows for fashion week, would you be interested? HELL YES! as i am standing there he faxes my info over to behnaz sarafpour's assistant and by the time i got home that night i had an email in my inbox asking me to be a dresser for the show. yessssss. anyways this pattermaker guy is awesome. he gives me his card and says come back anytime and i'll show you around the place so you can check out what we do here. i mean he makes all the patterns for peter som, marc jacobs, behnaz, ect. aaah!
jacqui's been helping to motivate me to get this darn portfolio over and done with, i'd be a lost little girl without her and her mango salads.
