Shrewder than the average bear
Well, well, well. Many things have happened since the last update. Moved out of the Cardiff abode, back to Underwood. Cardiff was fun, I kind of wish we had a longer contract but alas. It seemed to go all to quickly, I actually can't believe it's been a year since we moved in. Crazy stuff. Life moves ever on though I suppose.
Am back in education again after a short 2 year break, this time studying Humanities in Newport uni so I can then go on to study English/Philosophy in another uni that I have not yet decided. I have every confidence I will pass this year, and every confidence I will do it with very good marks. I suppose confidence is half the battle. It's quite cool there, made a few "friends" and everything seems to be going smoothly. Back living with the parents, a year of finacial heaven. 22 now though, two little ducks, time to start thinking logically. Time is running out I think! Scary.
Lydia has moved away to Brighton to study Nursing. 'Tis an awful long distance, I think the next few years could be very hard, but I know we can get through it. Absence makes the heart grow fonder....or was that absinthe?
I wonder what next year will have in store for me. Claims of paedophila most probably if I go to uni at 23. Should be an interesting year ahead anyhow. Have to complete ye olde personal statement, which you'd think would be easier now I have a bit of life experience under the belt but alas. Next year is a big year in general, a lot of people moving on to take control of their lives. Everyone will have moved on. Scary. Where shall we all be in 10 years time?
One day I will become as shrewd as James Kahn.
