Chapter 6: Discussions and Meetings
The room was dark, save for the candles lit on the windowsill. The air was warm, filled with promises of what was to come. Luke was laid back on the bed, head held up by his hands as the bed dipped from the weight of his boyfriend. Noah wasted no time as he eagerly divulged Luke of his black wife beater. In his haste, it ripped, but neither male paid it much mind. Luke lifted himself up, kissing Noah with every fiber of his being as he unbuttoned the brunette's shirt. He caressed every inch of granite-like skin as it was revealed, pushing the button-up shirt off of him. Noah's mouth separated from Luke's, trailing down his neck, kissing and licking every bit of milky skin that was under his mouth. Luke moaned as he tried to get rid of the other boy's belt. Noah slipped his hands down to cover Luke's, and guided him in undoing the stubborn article of clothing. When his belt was off, he lightly pushed off Luke's sweatpants, being careful of how much strength he put into the simple act. The blond couldn't help but buck as he felt Noah's hands trailing down his legs, his hands shaking as he undid Noah's jeans. He was just starting to push them off of Noah's hips when his hands stopped him. They looked into each other's eyes, both reading the nervousness, lust, and love that was present in both teenagers' eyes. Noah slowly reached down and took off both his pants and his boxers, as Luke slipped off his briefs. The brunette slowly kissed the blond as he took both of them in his hand. Luke bucked, tearing his mouth away from the golden-eyed boy's as he panted. He was graced with a lopsided smile before Noah's mouth once again descended upon his neck; he grabbed at Noah's shoulders as Noah stroked them faster, bringing them closer and closer to climax. Noah knew he was about to come, and knew what he needed to do to bring the human to completion. Luke gasped as Noah's come hit his stomach and the vampire lightly kissed his neck. A whispered plea for completion was all it took for Noah to bite down on Luke's neck; the blond screamed his lover's name as he came, holding Noah's head down as he drank the blond boy's blood. He could've sworn he heard his mother's voice over him, but that was impossible, she was out all night...
Luke woke with a start, feeling come sticking his shorts to him. “Luke, sweetie, you were screaming. Are you okay?”
“I'm just fine, mom. However, you ruined a really good dream,” Luke said, hoping that she would get the point. He loved his mother to death, but she had really bad timing.
“Are you-oh. Never mind, Luke. I'm just going to, you know, leave,” his mom said as she quickly left his room. Luke sighed as he got up and grabbed clothes to change into for after his shower. He had a feeling that he was going to spend a bit more time in there today than he usually did.
Noah was late. It wasn't like Noah to be late. Hell, if anything, he was usually early. Luke sat out in the grass as he waited for Noah's Mustang to arrive. 'Will I even be able to keep the dream out of my mind? Oh, wait, he can't read my mind when it's about him. I'll be okay. No I won't. I can't keep anything from him. He'll say one little thing and I'll be spilling about my wet dream. Oh god, please don't let him ask me anything, please,' Luke thought to himself as he watched Noah pull up in the driveway. He got up and got into the car, noticing right away that Noah was too tense. “Noah, baby, what's wrong?”
“Apparently, your mind's defenses drop after you've fallen asleep,” Noah said as he pulled out of the driveway and started to drive down the road.
“What do you...oh, shit, you heard that?”
“I didn't hear it, Luke, I saw it,” Noah said as he drove onto a dirt road. He watched as Luke's face paled, then flushed, then became a mixture of both. He couldn't help but smile at the way his boyfriend looked.
“I...I thought you only heard what the thoughts were, I didn't think you could see it.”
“Trust me, baby, I didn't know I could until last night. There I was, watching Carrie, and bam! I got hit with me ripping your shirt off. I couldn't help but keep watching, honey. Sorry,” The golden-eyed boy said as he kept his eyes averted from his brown-eyed boyfriend.
Luke kept his eyes on the scenery as he spoke, “Don't apologize. This was going to come up eventually. I mean, seriously, I've been having dreams about you for as long as I can remember, and later on, half of them turned sexual. I was hoping that you wouldn't know, but my hopes almost never seem to come out like I want them to. You've fantasized about me, haven't you?”
“More than I care to admit.”
“Good. I was worried I was the only one of us that did,” Luke said as they pulled off into a secluded clearing. While the vampire drove them deeper into the clearing, a strange thought came to him. “Um, Noah, love? I hate to ask this, but I really need to know. You have no blood in your body, except for the blood you drink, right?” At his nod, he continued. “Then, um, how do you, well, get hard? Can you get an erection?” He asked, blushing.
Noah parked the Mustang and got out, walking towards a picnic table. Luke quickly followed him, tripping over a rock and falling into the vampire's lap. As he tried to get up, Noah effortlessly moved him so he was straddling his lap, and feeling that, indeed, vampires can get erections. All the blond could do was blush. “Yes, babe, I can get aroused. It happens far too often when I'm around you.”
“I've...never noticed, I guess.”
“No, you just never thought about it,” Noah said as Luke settled himself into a more comfortable position on the brunette's lap. “Stephen explained his theory to me the day you ran away from me. His and his friend Carlisle's theory is that after we're changed, the venom in us replaces the blood in our blood stream. It makes sense, actually.”
“Wow, I never thought of that. It does make sense. So, that's why you're always so careful? Because of the venom?”
“Yeah,” Noah said as Luke rested his head on his shoulder.
“You know, you don't have to be so careful. I'm not a china doll; I'm not that fragile. I know that, compared to you, I'm like the most delicate thing on the planet, but you can stand to be a little less careful.”
“I know. I just don't want to risk it. I don't to get so far lost that I bite you. I don't want to turn you until you feel that you're ready.”
Luke lifted his head and looked Noah in the eye. “You'll turn me? You won't cop out? You'll actually do it?”
“Yes,” the vampire said, nodding his head. “I don't ever want to live without you, and the only way to do that is to turn you. I won't do it if you don't want me to, though.”
“Man, and here I thought I'd have to beg and plead.”
“Nope. I'm not going to be like Edward,” the brunette said, catching the blond's confused expression. “He's part of Carlisle's clan. He fell in love with a human girl named Bella, but she's been having to fight tooth and nail to get him to turn her.”
“Bella...wait, isn't there a book series about that?”
“Yeah, actually. That woman knows too much. Someone needs to get her to stop writing. She's already spilled about our existence. Thank god very few people believe that it's truth. Still, if I ever see Mrs. Meyer, she's going to get a piece of my mind.”
“I wouldn't suggest that. Besides, I doubt you'll ever meet her. That reminds me, I need to get her new book The Host. All of her books are great. Even the Twilight series,” Luke said as he tangled his hands into his boyfriend's hair.
“I'm not saying that they aren't. I'm just saying that she doesn't need to be so goddamn accurate. Roe read The Host last night. Just ask her to borrow it. Well, ask her tomorrow. Stephen's already read it, Joel's reading it right now, and I'm going to read it tonight after I get home.”
“Is the superfast reading a part of the vampire thing, or did all of you read really well before you were turned?”
“Vampire trait. Now, come on. We're going hiking. And, if you're lucky, I'll show you how glittery I am.”
“You know, you being all glittery is really weird. Hot, though,” Luke said as they walked through Oakdale later on that day. He had had a really great time, even if his feet did hurt a bit. From what he could tell, Noah had a great time, too. They entered the Java and sat down. “My feet shouldn't be killing me this bad. I live on a farm, for goodness sake! I shouldn't be in pain,” the blond said as he kicked off his shoes. Suddenly, his feet were in Noah's lap, and he was getting the best foot massage he had ever had. “Mm, Noah, god, don't stop. Where did you learn how to do that?” He asked, not noticing that the other people in Java were giving him strange looks.
“First, people are staring at you, love. Second, Alice taught me when I was 7. She said it was a great way into a girl's heart. Apparently, it's a great way into your's as well,” Noah said as he chuckled at the expression on the boy's face.
“Oh, please. You've been in my heart since you shook my hand. Noah? Hon, why did you stop?” Luke asked as he opened his eyes. Standing in front of the table was a man with brownish, grayish hair and a tall woman with jet black hair. “Um, excuse me, but you're interrupting my foot massage. Who are you and what do you want?”
“Oh, Noah, son, I'm so glad I've found you. I can't believe how much you've changed,” the man said, ignoring Luke. With the angle his head was at, he got a clear view of the man's eyes. Red. Luke grabbed the table and tried not to shake. The woman looked at him oddly, and he noticed that her eyes were purple. 'Like she put in blue contact lenses.'
“Well, I'm not glad to see you. Maybe you should leave. You're disturbing my date,” Noah said as he lightly covered Luke's hands with his own.
“Now, Noah, is that a way to talk to your father?” The man, 'Col. Mayer,' his mind supplied, said.
“It is when the man who you called father all your life tried to kill you,” Noah said, standing up, looking his father straight in the eye. It was an unnerving sight; red glaring at gold, father against son, evil against good. The woman and Luke just looked on as the staring continued. “Um, is this going to end anytime soon?” The female asked.
“Not that I know of,” Luke told her.
All of a sudden, Roe walked right up to Noah and tapped his shoulder. “Not now, Roe,” Noah said as he kept staring.
“Okay, but you should know that Stephen's right outside the door, and he looks like he's getting ready to kill this retard. Um, wait, never mind. He's staring at the chick next to Luke,” She said as she looked between the window and the woman. Col. Mayer and Noah also looked; Noah's father had a look of hatred on his face, but Noah had a giant smile on his face.
“Noah? Why do you look like Luke agreed to marry you?” Roe asked, snapping everyone out of their stares.
“I'll tell you later, sis. Luke, I should be getting you home. I don't want your dad threatening to castrate me again. See you, sis. Goodbye, ma'am. I'd stay away from my father if I was you. You don't know what he's capable of. As a matter of fact, Father, stay away from us. I'd hate to see you get hurt,” Noah said in a steely voice as Luke put his shoes on and got up to go. However, as he walked past his boyfriend's father, the man clapped his hand on Luke's shoulder hard, causing him to cry out in pain.
“Get your hands off my boyfriend, NOW,” Noah exclaimed, punching his father in the face and guiding Luke out the door and to Stephen.
“That wasn't a smart thing to do, Noah,” Stephen said as he checked Luke's shoulder. “You're going to have a hell of a bruise, and there'll be some swelling, but that's it. And, sorry son, but I can't heal just bruising and swelling. I'll go with you and Noah to your house and explain it to your father.”
“Thanks. If it was just Noah, dad would try and kill him,” Luke said as they walked off, not noticing the dark blue sedan that followed them.
“I'm not so sure I can do this.”
“Sienna, yes you can. We have to. We need to get rid of the freaks.”
“No, we don't need to, but seeing as you won't let this go, I'll try,” Sienna said as she tried to keep him from touching her. She didn't want him knowing every thought she's had since meeting the others.
“That's my girl. Now, let's get this plan on high gear. The sooner we learn where the human lives, the sooner we can destroy the freaks.”
