Sometimes I think I'm just not cut out to write fanfic, and generally at those times, I just go read porn. But GAH, I was assigned this Pansy/Ginny fic, like, 2 months ago, and I just cannot write it. And this is very distressing for some reason. Literally, I think I've started it 20 times and I've gotten maaaaaybe a page or two in before just ( Read more... )

Probably it will be something else for the twins. Maybe Draco will randomly start insulting Harry and Co. in the halls with no motivation whatsoever. And he'll get in Mrs. Weasley, too, so it looks like the Twins actually have a reason to come into that fight. Even though it'll still be 3-on-1. How IS that going to look good? Especially when Draco's the only one who comes out of it with any injuries? Maybe he'll somehow learn Judo on the spot so that somehow Harry and the Twins get roughed up, too. And no, they're totally going to cut Harry saying anything bad at all about Seamus's mom unless she actually comes up to him on the train platform and physically assaults him while calling him a Mudblood or something. I mean, it's bad enough to insult a Slytherin's mom; a Gryffindor's would just be beyond the pale for our Golden Boy Hero (I nearly typed Herpes there and am now giggling insanely :D)

I think Harry is amused by Lucius Malfoy at some point where we see him with Draco. Which is funny since he tried to get Harry's future True Wuv killed for kicks. But then, Harry had completely forgotten about that by book 5, so that might explain it. You know, if Ginny weren'tt such a Mary Sue, I'd feel really, really sorry for her. Not only does Harry think of her as this object for the claiming, he's completely just whitewashed all the things that actually define her as a person from his memory. It's kinda sick...:P

Seamus will just walk in and say 'I don't believe you, you liar!' and walk out, cameo complete.

Oh, totally. And the H/G fans are like 'She sassily told him off!' (like this is some pattern to their relationship. It's similiar to saying 'Oh, Neville confronted the Trio one time, so obviously they have an equal relationship'. It's still the other person who rolls over constantly and compromises to Harry, even if they break that once a series.) and 'But he was still under the evil influence of Cho.' Hardly a good sign, though, is it? Especially since he was bitching out Ron and Hermione for not pulling their weight in the hero department earlier in the book (cunningly leaving out that the reason they're not present on a lot of his adventures is that they've already been injured defending him. Gratitude's wonderful, isn't it?) and specifically mentioned CoS, iirc. So he remembers that he was the big hero, but not the person he was saving, which is perfectly IC for him, but makes him about a million miles from the 'ideal boyfriend' JKR seems to think he is (ah, female delusion... ;)
