Our lawyer is about that big *around*. Deceptively, however, his face isn't that fat. You don't realize how immensly huge he is until he gets up.. then you're like OMGWTFBBQ

lmao!
I've encountered people like that... makes me wonder what evolution is up to...
survival of the fatest?

(that's really mean... but from a naturalist pov I have to wonder! these people, no matter how nice they are would not survive a fight or flight with a pride of lions...)

I should probably warn you that I am ruthlessly mean bastard when it comes to making fun of people.. of course the only person aware of this is thingwraith. Verily though! The depths of cruelty would make the devil feel ashamed! :D

Actually I don't think evolution has much to do about it anymore; he's gone on vacation. Seems to me it's a symptom of humans having successfully controlled their existance to where evolution only has a minor role.
Basically, if evolution were to come back from his sabbatical we'd be spearing these folk and using them for lamp oil :)

I was just having this same conversation with vidicon the other day... how we've kinda stumped evolution, and think that "normal" means consistant, never changing life...
Everything has to be stable, average and status quo, otherwise it's dangerous and unpredictable...

With some exceptions, people are pretty much hardwired to want things to stay the same. Even those who crave excitement and adventure want that aspect of their life to stay that way (i.e. stopping their fun activities).
