(no subject)
I'm going to take a shower soon. Because I REALLY need one. I totally bummed it yesterday, yet the day went really fast. And today it's already past twelve. And I'm going to need a shower. I have an appointment at like 3:30 to order my pics(am going to need money from my dad which he isn't going to wanna give me, and I don't even know EXACTLY what i want to order...crud), and then later tonight(is this really Friday already?) Carlos and I are going with Stevie to some function at his church. I do very much need to get out and do something, anything. I like chilling at home, it's really my favorite thing to be doing, but, right now I think I need to stay active lol. So I'll be attempting to do that today and tomorrow.
So I picked up this book that's sitting in my bathroom, this huge 4 inch thick book of old short stories. I read some of it before, to read Babylon Revisited which is by my favorite writer FITZGERALD. yeay. There are a lot of good stories in there, a number of them being ones we read last year for English. Ohhh shit my mom just emailed me cuz I'm tying up the phone line. My bad. No one important calls anyway..just annoying idiots. And if anyone's smart they'll know that it's busy cuz I'm on and they can get on and tell me to get off hehe. But anyway. Yeah I was gonna flip through that book to read like the first "grabber" sentences....because we have to write a short story in Creative Writing by January something or other. And I really don't know what to do. Certainly I'll think of something, but I want it to be good, and I want it to be different. So eh. But I came across this really good story, but it's VERY long so I don't know if I'll get to finish it(keep in mind I still have that like 800 page thing to read for english). But I donno the story is just good. It's called "Imagine Kissing Pete" or something like that, if ya wanna look it up.
Oh yes, and I was going to explain my username for any idiots who don't understand how beautiful it is. State street is a street in Chicago obviously. And I love Chicago, more than any other place in the world besides Wyoming/the west. And my favorite place to be in Chicago is State Street. I have a picture of my own that I probablly could have used for my icon, but I didn't feel like looking it up. However this one still works, and it was taken on state street. It's by the TJ Maxx and Filene's basement...which is sort of around the Palmer house...kinda. This picture must have been taken some years ago though because the store you can see there behind that man is Contemporary Casuals, and I'm quite sure that that's not there anymore. I think that might be where Wet Seal is now...and there's also some candle shop there. So er yeah. I love Chicago. So much. We're planning on taking a two day instea of a one day trip there this winter like we usually do. It's going to be fantastic. I can't wait.
Okay, well it's time for me to scuttle off of here. NEED A SHOWER! Gotta call madre back, and clean house so the Blink can waltz over here later.
