Presumed Innocent -- Harrison Ford is a deputy district attourney and has to prosecute into finding the murder of his co worker. Only he gets set up for the crime. He ends up getting off but he then finds out that it was his wife that had set him up. Pretty good, and nice twist at the end. 3 stars
And Justice for All -- Al Pacino is a young straight edge lawyer who trying to defend his clients and make sure justice is served. He keeps letting his clients down, and well eventually this judge that hes at odds with wants him to defend him for raping a girl. Hes forced to choose between his ethics or defending his client. Pretty awesome final scene. 3 1/2 stars
Nixon -- the story of former President Nixon. Not just through the watergate scandal, but through his childhood, losing the 60 election, and all the other things that he had to deal with as president. Anthony Hopkins does a really nice job in his portrayal of him. I liked it. 3 stars
Guilty by Suspicion -- Robert Deniro is a movie director in the 1950s and theres this massive witchhunt of congress accusing other actors and directors of communism. They basically want him to tesitfy for something that is pretty stupid, but by refusing he gets put out of a job, and his life is basically in ruins. It was all based on a true story which I thought was pretty sad to say. Nice ending to it too. 2 1/2 stars
Billy Bathgate -- story of this kid who ends up as a right hand man for gangster Dustin Hoffman (if you can believe it) back in the 1930s. He starts off basically as his bitch and works his way up to his right hand man. Not really good plot, but good enough cast to pull it off. 2 1/2 stars
The Accused -- The story of a rape victim (Jodie Foster) who was gang raped at a bar by 3 men, while it was watched on by a lot more men. The prosecuting attourney cops a plea bargain with the rapists and gives them only 2-5 years. Realizing she did Jodie Foster a bad deal, goes after the people who were there and cheered on the rape and ends up getting them guilty and sent to jail. Pretty depressing, saddening movie, but really good. Jodie Foster does areally nice job. 4 stars
