Monday.. The day named in honor of Jamaican accents.
So, It's been a good couple o' days.
Saturday night featured a party on the seacoast with a slightly different subset of friends and aquaintances.
Sunday I watched the Patriots game on Matt's new big screen TV and saw Ocean's 12 that night.
And today at work, the day was productive and went pretty smoothly. Also I found that I was back to getting scheduled overtime and got a haircut.
All in all, I'm pretty content with things.
Except...
I'm concerned about tomorrow night. See it's a company party in beautiful downtown Manchester, NH and it's supposed to be Business Professional dress. I've never dressed like a professional. I have three dress styles: Normal. Funeral/Wedding. Naked. That's it, end of list. That is one of the things I like about my job, I didn't have to change the way I dressed, the only difference between "workclothes DJ" and "normal DJ" is a tucked in shirt and black shoes.
So anyway, I'm concerned when I'm out of my element clothing-wise, because I realize I have NO clue what looks good on me. And mostly, I have no idea what business professional means. I mean, do I wear the one token Funeral/Wedding suit that I own? Or, do I do as suggested by a co-woker, and simply wear a button down white shirt and a tie? Seems kinda lame, but I can't afford to go buy something for this event. When I heard the dress expected, I wanted to bail, but I know so many people who are going that I feel I shouldn't. So instead I'm just whinning about it. I'm sure it'll be ok, there will be alomst 2,000 people there and I'm sure I wont be the worst dressed person there.
Anyhoo, I'll give a report to the three of you that read this on Wednesday.
