Leukemia & Lymphoma
Guess what I've signed up to do... a half marathon! I signed up to walk 13.1 miles on May 20th for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I know that sounds crazy, but I'm dedicated to the cause and I have already started the training for it.
Leukemia is one of the leading causes of death in children between the ages of 1 - 15. The good news is that the survival rate has risen from 4% in 1960 to 81% in the last decade.
