I-pod... Help...?
so my ipod is completely fryed. I'm so pissed. It's 2 years old, (the buttons are on top, not on the wheel), and one day about a week ago, my wheel just decided, 'hey, i'm not going to work today. or any other day for EVER.' so now, i have a perfectly working ipod that just won't let the wheel turn... mrrrrrrrr... and of course i go to apple 'help' services and basically it's $100 to replace the top part... but of course, i have no guarantee that something else won't just fall apart, because the shelf life of these stupid plastic song-makers is oh, until the next model comes out.
grrrr.
They did tell me to empty it out and try to reboot the ipod, but of course i have no room for all the songs on my computer. so, i can either just delete the songs, try to reboot the ipod to see if perhaps it might possibly work (which it probably won't), or i can pay what, $300 for a new one? plus of course $50 so if this happens within the next 2 years i won't have to pay for any repairs...
TWO YEARS is NOT a good life!!! can you imagine if the $150 tv set you bought only lasted 2 years? There'd be an OUtrage! people screaming and taking to the streets!
Anyone... have any... suggestions...?
