(no subject)
today was... great. today was wonderful in an understated quiet kind of way. i just felt really good all day. and id be happy to tell you all about it.
it started out with a groggy Happy Birthday call from sam at 5:30 in the morning. made me smile, but then i went back to sleep. somewhere around 7 or 8-ish i was once again awoken with the Bachman Family traditional "torture the birthday-person and wake them up at the ass crack of dawn to give them presents and sing obnoxiously in their ear" routine. danny's card made me cry, and my parents gave me money that i am only allowed to spend on cds, dvds and the like-- which is the perfect present for me. i went out and bought 6 new cds today with money left to burn. oooooh yea. after lazing around in bed i spent an hour or two on the phone with sam, a portion of that involved my girlies kat and jules as well. and they also sang to me which was fun in that painfully enjoyable kind of way :P then i read a little of sixteen, which i thought to be very profound and important, and just a little bit dorky-- starting Sixteen on my own sixteenth birthday. Then a shower and off to Target for the afformentioned cds and some camp-stuff. blah blah boring part of the day goes here. Nightime: Boys Night Out/My Chemical Romance concert. sooo great. i enjoyed every band that played. just... great. now im home an exhausted and ending my june 12th birthday that i get to share with Carrie my love because we're just cool like that and born on the same day.
tomorrow is my sweet sixteen. i can't wait, and although it is a little upsetting that only 8 of my camp friends can be there, everyone from home will just have to help make up for it :). either way i can't wait. and im sixteen. and im really really happy about that.
