Super-annoying!
So here's what's super-annoying:
a. I like studying in my room.
b. My room is next to the courtyard.
c. Maintenance or construction workers have a radio on in the courtyard that I can hear because it is right near my room, even though my windows are closed.
d. It some sort of talk show
e. This is distracting.
f. I don't want to play music to block it out because I learned in cognitive psychology that you recall things better if you're in the same environment that you learned/studied it. So since I must take my exam in silence, I will recall the material better if I study in silence (rather than with music on).
g. So I must either study while hearing their radio show or leave. Maybe they'll leave soon.
