Being home has been wonderful, even if the past few days have been insanely busy.
I got home late from the airport due to my plane being delayed. Silly Midwest. Also got up early on the next morning to give my mom a hand around the house and go out for last minute shopping. The parking lots were mad and my father was stuck playing chauffeur since I'm car-less. Which is weird, bye the bye.
I also stayed up late Christmas Eve waiting for Sarah and Tom to get here, and got up early again to make the family pancakes.
Saturday was a trip into NYC with 10 other people. Craziness. Yesterday was up to Bethlehem with Rob to see Emma and Kevin and Follies. Got back around 3ish and crashed until 10 today.
So here I am, still in my pjs, enjoying break. :D Need to make a better effort in seeing some NJ people, which might be hard because I'm running off to MD for New Year's and up to CT/Boston a little after that. Soooo... Yeah, NJ people - I'm around today. And after January 4th or 5th, I think.
Being home has been good for me. Been doing a lot of thinking and planning. Also very excited to start getting into video games again. It has been far too long. If I can find a D&D game in College Station I will have my nerd bases covered for a while. Also excited for the new year in regards to the job hunt. Figured optimism might serve me better than what I went through the past few months.
Alright. I'm rambling. Time to go pretend I didn't waste the morning and do something today.
Hope you all had a good holiday.
