Life is Good

Ok, life has been hectic, but very fun.
I ended up getting a big part in a grad student film, as i mentioned earlier.
All day thursday and friday i was on set shooting. And you would be surprised the amount of energy it takes out of you. I was a zombie when i got home.
Of course, it was an intense part, so that just does more damage.

I was a wife who's husband was cheating on me with my "best friend", a woman i had been friends with since childhood that has always gone after all my boyfriends and tried mess up everything for me, and my whole life, i had said NOTHing to her about it, and put up this front that everything was fine.
So this lady shows up at my house w/o an invition (as she ususally does) but she comes in right as my husband and i are fighting about her. (i finally brought out in the open to my husband that i actually know he is a scumbag having an affair)

Anyways, all and all, in the end. I shoot my husband with a shot gun and Jane (The nasty whore) runs up and tries to get me to look at her (b/c my whole if i have never faced her) and finally i give her a good loathing look, and raise the gun to her as well (we dont know if i kill her, but it is assumed as much)
So yeah, my character is all about the subtext, b/c she never really says much for fear of loosing her front.
The shotgun wound was really nasty, i got sick when i first looked at it. They used hamberger meat and all this nasty guck. Ubergross.

I also got asked to be possibly in this other director's movie who was working as script supervisor on the set. Its the story of this mute girl (me) who got that way b/c of some traumatic experience in her life and her mom never lets her do anything, till finally i leave and i meet this blind boy.
So, the dynamics of communication b/w us will be extremely interesting.
i'm excited! And another guy said he might use me as well

That would be soooo awesome. This is what i love to do, and last year i was getting very disappointed that i wasn't getting involved in anything.
I asked God to give me just one break, to let the ball start rolling, and he did! Not only with film, but with theatre as well.

I just have to be careful about missing to many classes to be in the films. I had to skip a bunch for this one alone, and its not helping me.
I'm way behind on work for last week, and this week is going to be crazy enough as it si with all rehersals for Woodman late most of the week.

Kenny is actually coming up on tuesday :) One more day! i'm so excited.
Next week i his birthday, so his parents gave him the money to fly up to see me. He is such a sweetheart to waste his money of an over priced ticket.
And i feel so bad since i have sooo much homework, papers, and such PLUS rehersals most nights. But we still are going to get to do a lot. I have some fun outings in mind. Salsa dancing, take him out for a bday dinner, and maaybe go to Waculla Springs :) He'll be here till sunday. Yay!

Anyways, i'm going to continue working on my spanish now (u know, the thing i am ALWAYS doing) Trying to get ahead- or at least kept up with- my homework so i can spend more time with kenny when he's here.
