(no subject)
awesome thunder/lightning storm tonight. nonstop lightning, not a lot of bolts that you could make out though. and the thunder was so loud it was great. I was excited about it :)
got soaked too haha. I didn't want to keep my car parked under the tree across the street so I ran out in the middle of the storm to park it in the driveway and then when I saw how awesome the storm was gonna be I called out mom and dad and we all watched it.
I can't remember the last time that my family and I *well minus Tyler tonight* watched a thunder/lightning storm together. It was nice, we just talked and every once in a while looked up at the sky in awe pretty much.
As far as I could tell no real damage since it wasn't very windy and like I said not a lot of lightning bolts. Plus the power didn't go out this time which is always good ha.
After the storm we all watched the Roast of William Shatner. I hate him. Yet unfortunately he was pretty much the funniest of everyone. Lisa Lampanelli was good too, but Shatner was the best I'm sad to say :|
Dad's on vacation all this week so I think we're gonna be doing a lot of day trips. Hopefully we can make it down the Cape sometime, I still haven't been to my grandfather's..grave I guess you'd call it since the plaque was put up. I can't wait to have dad home for a whole week. I'm such a daddy's girl :D
