[About a minute later, Leon comes out the main entrance and approaches Wolf. He tried to keep a cool head despite some moderate levels of failure that hung on his shoulders. The lizard was wearing a nice white labcoat over a black turtleneck sweater and matching skinny jeans and... there was also a very noticable slash scar on the left side of his forehead from an incident that happened back on Christmas, but that was no longer on his mind.]

This is Smash Academy. Real name Sumabura, sometimes I call it Ass Academy. It's a school for combat and general education located in Final Destination City, which is a podunk sector of Southern New Jersey in the United States. Planet Earth, part of the Solar System. We're located about five days away from Katina if you hitch a ride on several transport ships between the space station about 15,000 kilometers east of Uranus and Lylat's asteroid field.
[Leon's hands were in his lab coat pockets now.]
All those times i disappeared in the last nine years... I've been researching local wildlife, including the human race, and teaching Zoology.

But Lylat Wars was only about four years ago at most. But this was confusing him. But then count the factors of his temporary amneisia some years back, and Wolf actually being here one year, though they almost never spent any time together and he suddenly disappeared... But Wolf seems to come off as it never happening...

The Lylat Wars were Nine years ago for me, Leon. [He takes a deep breathe before continuing. If it had been any lesser person, Wolf would have punched them by now.]
I am glad you found some place to operate though. After we saved Star Fox's miserable hides from the Aparoids and helped destroy the Queen, I was invited to the Smash Tournament. That's where I was before falling through a dimensional doorway and landed out here in the grass.

[Lylat was doing just fine these last few years... well, kinda shitty with the recession and all, but otherwise, no matter what Slippy or anyone can say about Aparoids on this planet, half the events are now supressed or forgotten memories and he was out cold for the rest of it.]

[He stretches his back and several loud pops confirm what he said.]

Follow me. It's not far from here.
[Leon takes Wolf by the hand like a little kid and pulls him through the brick roads and grassy fields of the campus to the building identified as the staff forms. If only Leon still had his kickass apartment downtown, but that is gone now.]
[They stop at the second floor, and Leon opens the door to TD-13. It was a cozy little 1-bedroom shack with cheap furniture, some knives and papers thrown around and Blacky's dinosaur figurines lined the top of his shelf for unknown reasons.]
