Well it has been a real busy month for us. With the play eating up 80% of our free time the stress is starting to tell a little but we are on final stretch for Mulan Jr. The show open Friday and it looks like we will have one hold over on the 26 of April. Angie has designed over 140 costumes and sewed many of them. I have blocked 1 mass battle and 1 tight focus dual. We have also help build and paint portions of the set plus gather/ build props. I am looking forward to the event this weekend although I will not be fighting as this is my first event as Seneschal I want to be able to react to things as needed and the weather forecast makes me think we will be inside. Plus I have not made a practice in months and I need to repair my armor. Which will take top priority once the play is done in 2 weeks.
I also start a new part time job next week. I will be refereeing soccer games for the park district. I am hoping to bring in at least $100 a week doing this plus it will help me get back in shape. Which I need to do too. I am now in my final 3 weeks at Cat and am in wind down mode. I have still not been told if CGN has a new contract fro me so my job hunting is going into full swing.
I filed our taxes last night and am about half way done with Novawolf’s taxes. You would think that would be simple because we have not open for business yet but that almost makes it harder.
Willow is almost 8 months old now and this weekend she seems to make great strides. She is now able to pull herself to a standing position and beginning to get good a crawling so we now have to more things up or put them up and putting baby locks on the cabinets.
