(no subject)
A large-scale and amusing drama just ensued where I could not find anyone to go with me to the James Taylor concert (it's tomorrow night!!!) and so my dad was like 'why don't you ask that kid who drives you home from school.' and I was like 'i barely know that kid' and my dad was like 'ask him!' so i sighed and tried to look him up in the phone book but his last name is really common and there were like 90 million listings for it in there in there. So my DAD calls up his colleague from work who lives in the same town as him and this guys daughter went to school with this kid, so my dad got his phone number that way and it was all very amusing. of course he was home but didn't want to go to james taylor.
well, i kinda think that will be it. SO SAD!! i always feel like going to concerts of artists you love is a precious commodity and he is going to be RIGHT THERE!!! AGH!!!
well, another thing i did today was set up an interview to teach at my k-12 school next year for creative writing and maybe english. seeing as i have very few credentials for creative writing and they mostly like to hire at least masters people with some experience, i have very little chance. but it's cool anyway and can't be bad. also i decided to cut sugar out of my diet completely except on special occasions. i think this will be hard but i joined a gym just for the break and my body fat percentage is way too high... and there's a history of diabetes in my family and i just can't take that. i mean, i could. but i don't want to.
this is the interesting news of the day... i only wrote 1 of my 4 papers i'm working on, so i'll get to it. my dad and i speak russian sometimes, it's awesome. bye.
