discussion post: favourite fanon backstories
Hello starwhales! Wow look at this, three whole posts in three days, things are off the chain here.
I come to you with discussion questions. One of the best(?) things about a show like Doctor Who is that it leaves things up to your imagination. ...And sometimes "things" means "the logical explanation for what seems to be a gaping plot hole". Fandom, of course, loves nothing more than spinning a good plot-fix theory or elaborate fanon explanation.
For example: A few months ago, miss_mishi and I were talking about how in End of Time Part 2, Ten tells Wilf he's 906, but in Flesh and Stone -- which, chronologically, seems to be only a few days later -- he tells Amy he's 907.
